This piece started out as a simple brush test in the drawing app Sketchbook Pro. I ultimately found a brush I really liked and drew the first version of the tree in this illustration. As I added more to it, I began to really like it.
After deciding to finish the drawing, I added my niece Courtney into it, to give it a little more life. The first version of the tree was pretty small and rather unimpressive, so I bulked it up and spread it out.
Done.
